I wish you could go with me to Nepal — to visit our Children’s Home of Love. To hear the children singing … see their smiles … feel the warmth offered by loving staff … I’m sure they’d run to you for a hug — I’ve received many embraces from our sweet residents! But since you can’t go — I want you to know:You are changing the eternal destinies of children in Nepal!
Children like …
Sunny – He was only 4 when his parents left him on the streets. His life was transformed at our Children’s Home! He graduated with a college degree in social services and works to rescue people from the sex-trafficking industry.
Suresh – His parents passed away from HIV when he was little. But God made it possible for him to be a part of our family! He’s now graduated, and works as a pharmaceutical rep. He also serves as a youth leader in his church. And Suresh mentors the boys in our boys’ home, too.
And here’s another great update … Babu, who came to us years ago, is our first resident to get married! He loves and serves the Lord in his job as a chef. And now … he has a wonderful, godly wife to share his life with!
Friends like you made it possible for these boys to thrive! They could have ended up on the streets of Nepal, forced to lives of crime. They could have been victimized by traffickers.
Instead, they were fed. Educated. Provided emotional stability and support. Filled with value and worth. Welcomed into a family of love and hope. And, most importantly, taught about Jesus!
THANK YOU FOR PRAYING & GIVING!
Today, I humbly ask you to give a gift of love, as we near the Christmas season, to our Children’s Home of Love in Nepal.
We have 24 children in our home. It costs roughly $7,000 per month to house and clothe them, provide for their education, and so much more. And, as you well know, prices are high right now. Plus, there are medical needs in addition to our regular operating budget. Extra dental or surgical treatments … or medication for sickness. We also pay the college fees ($5,500 for a 4-year degree) for any eligible children. Right now, we have 5 college students with us, with 2 more starting soon.
Your generosity today will help us meet the needs of our children … and continue pouring hope into their hearts. Please give as the Lord leads.
Sunny, Suresh, and Babu are making a difference in the world for Christ — because friends like you cared enough to make a difference in theirs. Please stand with us again … 24 children need your help.
Sincerely in Christ,
Yolanda D’Andrea Morris,President
P.S. We’ve recently welcomed two sweet little girls, Soumya and Pemba, to our girls’ home. Both orphaned — and desperately in need of the love of Christ. Your gift of love today will help us pour hope … value … and love into their lives. Thanks for helping us change their futures!
20 years of hope. 20 years of love. 20 years of pouring worth, value, and the promise of a bright future into children pulled off the streets of Nepal. Our president, Yolanda, and her husband Brian, just returned from a trip to Nepal where they spent time with everyone at Children’s Home of Love. The…
