With the Christmas Season upon us and the New Year celebration right around the corner, our reminder to you is "Holiday Fruit". That isn't meant to represent all of the strange occurrences that you’ll see, although there are plenty of those around, it's to remind you to eat plenty of fruit this time of year. With all of the church gatherings, family parties, and other celebrations that you'll be attending, be careful not to put your body into Holiday Shock with too many sweets and other foods that you'll regret.

 If you’ve seen our “Jump Rope” show, you would remember that you would have to jump rope at 145 rotations per minute for almost 20 minutes to burn off the calories from eating just 3 sugar cookies (Hummm, 20 minutes in exchange for 3 cookies - that really depends on how good the cookies are). Just kidding, skip the cookies, it’s not worth it.

While gazing and grazing at the next Holiday table full of food, think about replacing your deserts and sweets this season with some tasty fruit. It’s God’s sweet and natural desert. A nice juicy strawberry or clementine can taste just as sweet and satisfying as most calorie laden deserts. So do your body, yourself and your friends and relatives a favor, take a nice fruit tray to your next gathering. Start new eating habits now and get a jump start on a healthier New Year.

Christian Fitness just completed their 18th show, "Jump Rope". With special additions from the Mayo Clinic and What's Cooking America .net, this program is packed full of outstanding nutrition and exercise information coupled with one of the best overall body workouts you can participate in. If you've never jumped rope before or haven't tried it since you were a child, get off of your couch and get ready to burn some calories.

The "Arms" program focuses on nothing but the upper body to build more strength, definition and endurance for your arms and shoulders.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The "PK" (Punch and Kick) show is a full body workout. This program goes into detail on technique and form so that anyone at any level can participate and experience the benefits. Beginners will have a blast testing and improving their balance, while intermediates and advanced can test their cardio by pushing it to the limits during each round.
 
 
 
Be sure and catch the "Couch" workout to Matthew West's latest album "Something to Say", and  "Exercise Bands II" set to the music of Brian Bates. Christian Fitness is honored and blessed to have these two anointed artists lend their talents to the program.
